In a secret ballot vote on June 30, 2010, members voted to
accept the terms of the new
collective agreement.
The agreement was
retroactive to April 1,
2010. It provides general wage increases of 3.5 percent, 3 percent, and 3 percent. It also improves pension access, vacations, sick leave, shift premiums, boot allowance, benefits, stat holidays, and incorporated a new weekend premium in the third year.

5 - Western Producer collective agreement
[Aug. 1, 2010 to July 31, 2013]
This
agreement was ratified in this local in December 2010. The three-year
deal contains:
- 7.5%
in wage increases plus a signing bonus and a flat sum for year
two,
- a
0.25% increase to the pension plan by each side,
- improvements
to vacation, family leave and extended health care benefits, plus
- new
fitness and computer purchase programs.
