Carolyn is a proud member of GSU.
"The
challenges that we face as GSU members are like no other. The
government today want us to step back, let them introduce Bill 5 and 6
and let the rest of the province say what a good government we have,"
Carolyn said. "I think now is the time to stand up for our rights and
beliefs. We are the province of Saskatchewan and we are a working
people and we need to understand the consequences of this
government. We must do everything we can to stop big business
like Viterra from crushing the union worker. We need to stand
together more than ever and educate our collegues about the importance
of our unions and what they mean to us and to our children and our
future."
"If we don't fight, we will end up the way we were 70 years ago. I want
to make sure all GSU members know the importance of keeping our union
strong," Carolyn said.
"As GSU's elected President I will listen to what my members have to
say, but I also have the chance to speak out and make sure they
understand the importance of the GSU."
